DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: Oil prices and IMF worry government

The government issued a warning in mid-September over the combination of high oil prices and congress's doubts about the IMF-approved economic recovery programme. The government said that it would veto any changes congress made to the budget that would affect the programme.
